I attended the Boston, Masachusetts stop on Demi Lovato’s headlining Summer 2009 tour. The tour feature her, David Archuleta and girl band KSM as the opener. My friend Shayla came with me to the show and she and I had VIP passes for it. Sitting fifth row, we had a great view of the stage, even when people stood up. KSM played a four song set, but they were really good. They pumped up the crowd and go everyone involved. Lead singer Shelby Cobra would kick bright green KSM beach balls out into the crowd to get games of Keep It Up going. Overall they played great and I wish their set was longer. I would definitely go see them again.

I had bought tickets through presale and shortly after I received an email with information on upgrading the tickets to the VIP package. While the upgrade cost was pricey, about $100 per ticket. VersaEmerge (affectionately known as VE by fans) is the newest bands to sign to Fueled By Ramen, so they do not have an official fan club yet. That hasn't stopped fans from supporting their favorite band and creating the first ever unofficial VersaEmerge Fan Club. Twenty one year old Chris Schneider started up the unofficial fan club on December of 2008 out of Stuttgart, Germany. He got in contact with the band to get their okay and "they were super super honored, they sent me their bios back within few hours". The site already has 182 registered members and is growing rapidly despite not being advertised on any of the band's official pages.

With technology increasing today, you think there would be a better way to fight resellers and scalpers to insure the fans get the tickets they want.
