Breathe Carolina Hello Fascination CD Review

Breathe Carolina, a two piece band (except when on tour) from Denver, Colorado released their second CD on August 18, 2009 called Hello Fascination. This screamo/electronica band previously released an album last year called It’s Classy, Not Classic. The band has kept busy this summer by being on the 2009 Vans Warped Tour. Soon Breathe Carolina will be joining the Dance Rawr Dance 3 Tour with Family Force 5, Cash Cash, Queens Club and I Rival.

MuteMath Armistice CD Review

MuteMath is a four piece rock band from New Orleans. Using rock to describe their genre isn’t 100% correct. The band’s sound takes influences from many different genres like new wave to electro rock to ambient vocals. The band saw great success with their song “Spotlight” was put onto the Twilight soundtrack. They band gained many new fans, but personally I know them because of their insane, but genius music video, for the song. Just about a week ago, Mute Math released their second full length Armistice on Teleprompt/Warner Bros Records.

UK Writer Bekka Collins, known for her "UK Band" series will be taking some time off from the UK to talk about some upcoming US Bands. The Fastest Kid Alive is her first. In January 2008 a group of four boys Gary (vocals & guitar), Kyle (bass), Mark (vocals & guitar) and Zane (drums) got together to form the band The Fastest Kid Alive. James Mcvey is an acoustic solo artist whose music career is slowly beginning to take off. James is from Chester, Cheshire now resides in Dorset on the British South Coast. He plans to progress his musical abilities by continuing to study music at sixth form. He has been playing guitar since the age of 12 and singing since he was 14. Now at the age of 16 James believes it’s time to start sharing his music with those around him.
