Kris Allen is a singer/songwriter from Conway, Arkansas. After winning the 8th season of American Idol, not only did all the girls notice him for making their hearts throb, but America noticed him for his musical originality. He has an ability to take a song of any genre, and with his unique, folk styled voice, he makes the song his own, as he did throughout the season countless times. It obviously did not go unnoticed after he came out of the competition strong, voted the winner by the viewers. After his success, he began to record, and now we’ll all see the result of his studio time.

A four-piece alternative rock band, formed when American Nathan Nicholson (Vocals/Guitar/Keys) met Todd Howe (Guitar) by chance in a London club. At the age of just 19, Nicholson found himself alone in the British capital - following the death of his mother he'd decided to part ways with his hometown Tennessee and head for a fresh start elsewhere - It was here that he formed a strong friendship with Howe, resulting in the two living and writing together. It wasn't long before the duo's musical ideas attracted the attention of college friends Adam Harrison (Bass) and Piers Hewitt (Drums) who would complete the bands line-up.

Mike Duggan (vocals) Colin Guffey (guitar/vocals) Noah Fenton (guitar), Jack Mallinger (bass), and Trey Cook on drums comprise Take Notice, the pop-punk/hardcore group from Detroit, MI that is hoping for critics to take their name literally while listening to their debut EP The Get Go. Whether or not reviewers pick up on this subtle wordplay, it is instantly recognizable that Take Notice sound remarkably tight for a band in such early an early stage of development and whose Myspace page reads "We Need A Singer!".

Flyleaf seemed to appear out of no where in 2005 with their self-titled debut album. I was impressed right away by Lacey Mosley’s strong vocals. Since the bands birth in 2000 in the Belton and Temple, TX area, they have quickly gained a foothold in the realm of rock and made a name for themselves. The band consists of Lacey Mosley (vocals), Sameer Bhattacharya (guitar), Jared Hartmann (guitar), Pat Seals (bass), and James Culpepper (drums). Now, in 2009 Flyleaf has released their sophomore album, Momento Mori (Latin for “Be mindful of death”), on Octane Records.
