Nikson Bluebird CD Review

Nikson is a band from Gyõr, Hungary. The band consists of four members and formed back in 2005. They play about 40 shows a year and are getting more sponsors, such as the energy drink Cocaine, and Famous Stars And Straps. The band’s newest EP is titled Bluebird, and is short but definitely sweet, with three outstanding tracks.

Two O’ Clock Courage EP Review

Two ‘O Clock Courage come at us out of Trumbull, CT and brings a pop punk sound with them that instantly reminds us of better times. The band only formed as recent as April of 2009, but they have already created a strong punk sound. The band consists of James Davidson (vocals), Peter Vogt (synthesizer), Mike Ruotolo (drums), Rico Ruotolo (guitar), Brian Blackmore (bass), and Mat Smith (guitar). Their first offering to us is the EP, Sequenced From The Bloodstream.

Grantham, Nottingham. Not so long ago a combination of two local bands formed the cheeky rock-pop quad that are now known as “Kiss Corona”. The band- made up of Phil Clark (vocals & guitar) , Luke Turner (lead guitar) , Steve Clark (bass & vocals) and Sam Girling (drums) only formed in July 2009. Despite the fact of lacking in time, the boys are definitely not lacking in dedication and determination towards their musical ambitions.

Farewell Fighter in a power pop, rock group from Nashville, TN who knows how to infuse the proper level of synth and rock to create a sound that holds its own in an over saturated genre. The band is composed of Kenny Fleetwood (vocals, guitar), Lee Morton (guitar, vocals), Preston Jackson (bass), and Matt Hooper (drums). Although The Winning Team is not exactly a stand out album, it holds promise for the young band and showcases their talent in a positive light.
