I attended the 2009 Bamboozle Tour and spent the money on the $300 VIP ticket. And it was worth every penny. For those of you considering going VIP for next year, I will share what we had at 2009. These may change (for better or for worse), this article is to be used only as a guide.
-Access to indoor bathrooms (apart of the VIP area of the stadium)
-VIP tent where band members did signings, hung out and played acoustically
-VIP tent has tables, chairs and couches for you to use
-2009 Tour was sponsored by Wonka so there was tons of free candy
-Coolers with Monster Energy Drinks
-Access to water
-Gift bag featuring promo material (flyers, stickers, CD’s), free samples of Monster/Wonka Candy and a VIP badge.
-Email updates about the tour including who would be doing signings and playing acoustically
-Ability to partake in contests/be given passes for exclusive meet and greets with main stage bands

I went to Bamboozle 2009 and it was great. I was wondering if with VIP do you have more of a chance to meet band members? Also, are you allowed to to back stage a lot? Or for certain bands? Can you pick?
Thanks.

Hey Lilian!
Thanks for reading. For The Bamboozle VIP you get access to the VIP tent, there the bands do exclusive signings and acoustic performances. And a lot of bands just go there and hang out for a bit. I met A LOT of people while having VIP. The VIP Tent is only for VIP’s and no outside people are allowed in. You do not get to go back stage or side stage for any of the bands. If you want more information, pictures, anything at all feel free to write back!

Hi,
I wanted to go to Bamboozle 2010 and get VIP passes for it, but is there any way at all to get side stage or backstage? Is it really worth getting the VIP?
Thanks!

Hey Alex,
You can’t get backstage or side stage. But you get access to an indoor bathroom and lounge. You also get access to the VIP tent where bands come play acoustically and do meet and greets. The tent is stocked with water and Monster. Wonka sponsored this year so there were two tables filled with candy, all for free to VIPs. So next years sponsor will do the same.
If you want to meet bands then VIP is worth every penny. Many band members just came and chilled out in the VIP tent as well. It rained on Sunday this year so it was nice to have the tent to hang out under and stay dry. Plus you get a bag full of free CD’s, samples of products (like the Monster Energy Shot) and more.
If you have any more questions let me know!

Hey, I was wondering about viewing areas. My girlfriend is going with me for the first time in 2010, and she’s only 4 foot 11. She can never see. Do the golden tickets let you stand on that platform thing facing the stage? Like I think it’s near the soundbooths.

Hey Felix,
I’m 5 feet so I feel your girlfriends pain. There hasn’t been a platform but who knows they might this coming year. Your best bet would be to wait for for them to release info on the VIP package in December/January.

Hey,
I went to Bamboozle 2009 in NJ and I noticed many people standing ON STAGE toward the side/back. How can you get that privilege? Is there a pass for that?
September 28th, 2009 at 5:48 pm
Hey,
To stand on the stage, backstage or side stage you have to me either in a band, a band crew member or a friend of the band. You can’t buy a pass for this. Sorry!

Hey,
I was reading over the thread and wanted to mention that I had VIP passes last year and you do get to go backstage. I signed up for a tour and it’s kind of random because you only get to sign up for a certain time and you don’t know what stage they’re going to take you too. So I got to go to a side stage that I didn;t know the band. But I know people in there that signed up early and got to see A Day To Remember, Demi Lovato, and even Fall Out Boy who headlined. (They met Ashlee. lol)

Hey Jimmy,
I knew about the backstage tours and being brought side stage for a few select bands. But a lot of people were asking with VIP if they could go backstage/side stage whenever they want. Thanks for reading!

Hi in response to the getting side stage or backstage. Where/How do you sign up to go side stage or backstage?
February 1st, 2010 at 2:52 pm
Hi Kerry,
You do not get to go side stage, unless things changed this year. Last year they did do back stage tours on one day. To find out if they are doing them, you need to go to the VIP tent and ask one of the people working it.

Hey I want VIP tickets to the Bamboozle Roadshow 2010 and i was wondering where do i get them?
March 2nd, 2010 at 1:03 pm
Hello Bella,
Go to the Bamboozle website to buy them. They are still adding dates. It’s $250 for VIP per date of the Roadshow. It’s a steep price considering it’s $300 for all three days of Bamboozle.

Hi,
I’ve been thinking about buying a VIP pass for this year’s road show.. I’ve been debating whether i should buy the Bamboozle VIP pass or if i should buy Boys Like GIrls’s Platinum package (meet and greet, etc, no access to the VIP tent), since I really like Boys LIke Girls. My question was if the headlining bands hang in the VIP tents, and, if so, would there be a possibility of meeting Boys LIke Girls while in a VIP tent? Because I really want to meet them, and I’d be willing to spend the extra $150 to have access to those tents and still get to meet them.. Thanks!

Hey Jenny,
I’ve never seen to the Road Show, only Bamboozle NJ. I really don’t think The Road Show is worth $250 for VIP, considering it’s just ONE day you get VIP for. Whereas VIP for the entire Bamboozle NJ (3 days) is $300. I think this is the first year they’ve done VIP on this scale, so I really don’t know much about it.
