Good Luck Craig
If you don’t know all of the writers from Shred News (minus Bekka) live in New England. But Craig Johnson is leaving to be in Tennessee for college. And it wouldn’t be right of us to send him off with out a goodbye! Craig will continue working for Shred (we’d be lost with out him!). So all of us took the time to wish Craig best of luck.
Emily: Good luck at college, bro! Don’t party too much and forget all about us at Shred News! Have fun all the way in Tennesee at Watkin’s College of Art and Design! Much love!
Bekka: Craiggg <3 even though i don’t know you that well good luck & have fun! p.s you need to make me another sign plz
Kayley: I met Craig last June at Cute Is What We Aim For’s summer show. This was before I was writing for New Haven’s Pulp Magazine, so well before Shred News. Craig and I became fast friends at the front of the stage for Powerspace’s set (we were the only ones who knew the words to their songs).
I would continue seeing Craig at shows. I will admit to inteviewing a band at a sold out show just to get a press tickets and see him. He’s one of the nicest and funniest kids I know. So back in April when Shred News became a reality Craig was one of the first people I contacted to be on the writing staff.
I don’t think anyone other than myself knows how much work Craig puts into Shred. He does all of the image headers, his weekly update, all the interviews and whatever little side projects myself and Eric throw at him. Shred News with out him would be like living with out a limb.
So I am sad that I’m not going to head off to a show and see him. But I am going to continue working with him. To those reading keep the name Craig Johnson in mind, he is going to do great things.
