Coming from the year 2050, the guys in Love Via Dance Machine have traveled back through time to grace us with their electronic beats. Luckily for us, they’re currently stuck here in 2010. Although in the future they had a record deal, LVDM are currently working their butts off to get to that point again. They’re constantly playing shows in the New England area and hopefully soon, they’ll go beyond the NE area. This band not only has an awesome name but they’re also full of charisma.
The members of LVDM are: Eric Grava (vocals), Izaiah Yelle (bass/vocals), Alex Badanes (guitar/vocals), Lyle Shaw (synth/keytar), and James (Jimmy) Coberly (drums). Now, where do I begin? For starters LVDM has an EP out called All Is Fair In Love And Dance which consists of five tracks. There is not one single track on their EP that will leave you bored. In fact, you won’t be able to stay still, it’s impossible. As of right now the band is working on two dance remixes of two songs off the EP, which they recently announced on their new Stickam page. If you want to hear All Is Fair In Love And Dance you can head to their MySpace where you can listen to the entire EP. If you like what you hear, you can download their EP for free right off their page.
Love Via Dance Machine is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re going to get with them. This definitely comes into play when talking about their live shows. They’re always pulling something out of their sleeves whether it’s the band doing a cover song or doing something outrageous on stage. The band has some really good stage presence and they make sure that their crowd is always interacting with them too.
So will Love Via Dance Machine ever go back to the future? It’s hard to say, but as long as they’re here for now, they’ll be able to rock out at any shows they play at. So, make sure you check them out on Purevolume or MySpace!
