Coming from the year 2050, the guys in Love Via Dance Machine have traveled back through time to grace us with their electronic beats. Luckily for us, they’re currently stuck here in 2010. Although in the future they had a record deal, LVDM are currently working their butts off to get to that point again. They’re constantly playing shows in the New England area and hopefully soon, they’ll go beyond the NE area. This band not only has an awesome name but they’re also full of charisma.

Even at their peak, very few musicians exhibit as much musicality and maturity as young singer/songwriter Chase Coy. An Indiana-native, Coy began writing music at sixteen, and soon after found an audience on MySpace. After releasing numerous LP’s, EP’s, and singles, he managed to rake in over eighteen million plays on Myspace. He regularly appears on the iTunes top 100 singer/songwriter chart, and he’s coming out with his first studio album for Universal Republic early this summer.

After getting much attention from their first release of their Self-Titled EP, Dallas, Texas band Artist Vs Poet now releases their new album called Favorite Fix and I have to say it’s an album I enjoyed from start to finish. When I think of this pop rock genre of music I think of bands I enjoy like All Time Low and Forever The Sickest Kids. Well Artist Vs Poet is easily another band to add to the list.

The Constant released on February 16th, from none other than Story Of The Year, the band from St Louis, Missouri. The Constant is the group’s fourth big album to date. Well, the long awaited album is here, but the real question is if it will live up to their past songs/albums that they are most known for.

The Rocket Summer is the pop rock solo-project of artist Bryce Avary, whose roots are in Forth Worth, Texas. What makes The Rocket Summer unique, aside from intellectual lyrics and mature melodies, is the fact that Avary writes all the lyrics, plays all the instruments, and produces all the songs himself. This past October, The Rocket Summer released the You Gotta Believe EP, co-produced by CJ Eiriksson. Building off the buzz stemming from the EP, The Rocket Summer just released a full-length album Of Men and Angels on February 23rd.
