The VMA Side Story

Ever seen West Side Story? Well MTV sure has and they’ve done their own spin-off version of it to promote the upcoming VMA’s! They play it off by having different artists sing the spin-off such as; Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Ne-Yo, Cobra Starship, and Russell Brand. Each of these artists has their different verse to sing in this VMA Side Story.

In the spoof you have each of these artists singing a variation of each of their own songs to fit the video. Cobra’s latest single Good Girls Go Bad, Taylor Swift’s Teardrops On My Guitar, Katy Perry’s Waking Up In Vegas are some of the songs featured.

With the VMA’s approaching next month, everyone is anxiously awaiting who will win? While finding out the winners is always a huge part of the VMA’s not everyone watches it to find out who was voted for the most. Some people strictly watch it to see some of their favorite artists perform. Artists performing this year will be Lady Gaga, Jay-Z, Taylor Swift, Green Day, Pink, and Muse. The VMAs will be held in New York City. It will be the 25th anniversary of the first VMAs held in 1984.
