Shadows Chasing Ghosts are a rock/screamo band from around Essex and London. The four boys Trey (vocals) , Damian (guitar) , Matt (guitar) , Danny (bass) and Danny C (drums) met through friends and their general music scene by going to shows and what not. Taking a great influence from their local music scene the boys got together in order to create their own blend of music. They soon began writing and recording their songs and with the help of popular social networking sites such as MySpace they slowly began acquiring the recognition they deserved. Now, with over 500,000 plays it’s safe to say the boys are clearly hit.

With this being said it’s clear to see the boys worked extremely hard to achieve the success they have gained so far. Firstly they released their first EP “Never Get a Wolf’s Attention by Pulling it’s Tail” in April 2008 and they also recently released a single on Small Town records which goes by the name of “Searchlights”. With fans taking to the boys and sticking to them like glue it’s not surprising to see an impressive list of bands they have previously shared the stage with. Finch, Flood of Red, Hexes, Don Broco and The Casino Brawl just to name a few. The boys also had the pleasure of touring Australia for five weeks with Haste The Day and Blessed By a Broken Heart. Although thats a great achievement on it’s own the tour was all organized and done by the boys themselves, which is immensely impressive for any band never mind a fairly new one.

Currently the boys are focusing on recording an album which they hope will be released in March next year. Although they’re busy writing new material a talk of a tour of India to finish of the year has already been discussed. Alongside this exciting news the boys have just been signed to The Agency Group. The Agency Group book bands such as 30h!3, Aiden, Paramore and mewithoutyou along with several others. This shows that next year should be tremendously exciting for the boys. They’re definitely a band to keep an eye on and have a great deal of pressure on them to make sure next year is one of their bests.
