So have you heard, Girls Get All The Action? Not in the literal sense of course, but as in the band. Girls Get All The Action are a 5 piece rock band from Richmond, Virginia. Sounds extremely original and cliché I’m well aware of that, but the boys idea of a rock band began as just a project. A project which was obviously took to the next level and undoubtedly successful. If this project was submitted to a teacher for marking it would receive an A+ in every aspect: music, songwriting, band members and dedication. Being fairly new to the scene forming in the fall of 2008 the boys are already accomplishing great things that most would believe to be unreachable.

Still an unsigned band, but stronger than ever Chris (vocals), Jason (guitar & vocals), Brad (guitar & vocals), Michael (drums) and Ben (bass) have already released their debut EP White Lights in June of 2009. With not a great deal of experience under their belts the boys have still played a handful of shows will some well established bands. They have had the pleasure of sharing the stage with bands such as A Skylit Drive, Dance Gavin Dance and Attack Attack! Their latest cover of Lady Gaga’s “PokerFace” also added to their growing popularity by totaling up around 46,400 plays on the social networking site that we all know and love; myspace. Once again, quite an astounding result for such a new band. Not to mention they were also recently featured in the October edition of Alternative Press an exciting achievement for both the band and the rapidly growing fan base.

With a fan base so big, so early on in their careers the boys are currently working on more new material which they are eager to share. Constantly writing and refining their sound the band are definitely beginning to show their musical skills but plan to keep their listeners in the dark for now about their new music ideas. Unfair?  Yeah I think so. However in the future the boys have promised that growth will be a prominent feature within the band and will be especially noticeable in their songwriting. Aside from their new music plans, the boys plan to continue touring and hope you will support them in the journey they are about to take.

White Lights Track Listing :
1. Drowning in My Downtime
2. Late Night
3. The Futures Ours
4. Liars Turn Me On
