Demos and EP’s that started a massive amount of support in the music scene? Check. A first full length album that has such a powerful sound you can’t help but listen to it more than once? Check. Support on tours with some of the biggest named bands in the scene right now? Check. A band you should definitely know about and support? Check.
We Came As Romans is a 6-piece band from Michigan who started in 2006. Their full length album, To Plant A Seed, was released on November 3rd, 2009 and produced by Joey Sturgis (The Devil Wears Prada, Emarosa, Attack Attack!). It came out on Equal Vision Records. It’s ten tracks of heavy instruments, dual vocals, and a more symphonic sound than their Dreams EP.
Along with already having a few small headlining tours under their belt, WCAR has also been touring with bands such as The Chariot, The Word Alive, Oh, Sleeper, I See Stars, and currently touring with Alesana and A Skylit Drive, We Came As Romans has definitely shown the music scene that they are here to stay and they’re not going away anytime soon. The tours they are getting put on just keep getting bigger and better.
As a band that has not only proved themselves in their sound but also their touring ability and much more, We Came As Romans is definitely a band you should check out. If you like any of the bands they are touring/toured with or even if you just like a heavier sound and feel like checking out a newer band in the scene. I promise you will not be disappointed with We Came As Romans.
